About The Role:
As Teacher Horticulture you will deliver high‑quality vocational education and training across horticulture programs, supporting students to develop practical, job‑ready skills aligned to industry standards. The role involves classroom and practical delivery, assessment, student support, and contribution to continuous improvement and industry engagement.
You will be:
- Developing and delivering engaging, customised learning experiences under Certificate II in Horticulture & Certificate III in Horticulture
- Supporting learners to build confidence and competence in literacy and numeracy
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress, assessments, and compliance documentation
- Creating a positive, respectful, and inclusive learning environment
- Ensure compliance with national VET quality standards and BKI policies
- Creating a positive, respectful, and inclusive learning environment that supports diverse learner needs

We are excited about you because you have:
- Horticulture qualifications
- Completed Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Relevant experience in teaching horticulture
- Experience delivering training in adult education or vocational settings (beneficial)
- Effective communication skills for working in correctional settings
- Computer proficiency
- Ability to teach independently
- Commitment to safety, inclusion, and learner success
The Essential Paperwork: Working with Children Clearance (WWCC), Current police check, Certified right to work documentation, Certified copies of your qualifications and transcripts
