Through strong collaboration with multiple custodial sites, we play a vital role in supporting rehabilitation by building skills, confidence and meaningful pathways for reintegration into the community.
Learning delivery is adapted to the custodial context, with paper-based delivery and controlled classroom settings. Our educators work directly with individuals, often navigating diverse learning needs. Success in this environment requires professionals who are confident in demonstrating emotional intelligence and resilience, bring sound judgement and a strong commitment to professional conduct.
About The Role:
Location: Fulham Correctional Centre
Role Type: Part time (0.4 FTE) fixed term Dec 2027
Availablity: 2 full days (days negotiable)
Remuneration: starting 94,772.16 inclusive of 12% super (pro-rata, dependent on qualifications)
As a Cleaning Teacher at Fulham Correctional Centre, you will play a vital role in supporting students to develop industry-relevant cleaning skills, along with essential employability capabilities that prepare them for work upon release. Working closely with correctional staff and program teams, you will design and deliver practical, hands-on training aligned to industry standards and workplace expectations.
This is a highly practical role where you will guide students through real-world cleaning tasks and routines, fostering safe work practices, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. Through structured learning you will help build students’ confidence to perform in commercial cleaning environments and support their pathway to employment.

We are looking for:
- Certificate in Cleaning Operations
- Effective communication skills for working in correctional settings
- Computer proficiency
- Ability to teach independently
- Commitment to safety, inclusion, and learner success
The Essential Paperwork; Working with Children Clearance (WWCC), Current police check, Certified right to work documentation, Certified copies of your qualifications and transcripts
