Remuneration: starting $ 83,367.00 plus 12% super (dependent on qualifications, pro rata)
About The Role:
As a Construction Teacher, you will deliver high-quality training and assessment in Civil Construction and Pre-Apprenticeship programs to adult learners within a correctional setting. Your role will include:
- Delivering accredited civil construction and pre-apprenticeship training aligned with industry standards and safety regulations
- Supporting learners to build confidence and competence in construction skills and workplace readiness
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress, assessments, and compliance documentation
- Creating a positive, respectful, and inclusive learning environment that supports diverse learner needs
- You’ll be part of a supportive team committed to providing vocational education that empowers learners and contributes to safer communities

We are excited about you because you have:
- Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
- Certificate III in Civil Construction, Certificate II in Building and Construction or Certificate II Supply Chain Operations (or equivalent)
- Current White card (Construction Induction card)
- Relevant and current civil construction experience
- Experience delivering training in adult education or vocational settings (beneficial)
- Effective communication skills for working in correctional settings
- Computer proficiency
- Compliance paperwork management
- Ability to teach independently
- Commitment to safety, inclusion, and learner success.
The Essential Paperwork: Working with Children Clearance (WWCC), Current police check, Certified right to work documentation, Certified copies of your qualifications and transcripts
