Remuneration: Casual Teacher level from $82.01/hour (depending on qualifications)

About The Role:

As a Carpentry/Construction Teacher at our Fulham Correctional Centre, you'll play a crucial role in the rehabilitation and education of individuals within the correctional system.  You will be providing skills training and assessment in a well-resourced supervised carpentry workshop.

Working within the Corrections teams, you'll be part of a collaborative environment focused on achieving positive outcomes for students. By imparting essential skills, you'll not only enrich their educational experience but also contribute to the holistic development of the students. 

Your role goes beyond traditional teaching and will have significant impact on these individuals.  It's about empowering them with skills they need to succeed both during their time within the correctional facility but also as they integrate into society.  Your commitment to this will make a meaningful difference in the lives of those you teach and in the broader prison community.

• Cert IV Building & Construction (CPC 40120) and/or completed Diploma of Building & Construction (CPC 50220) 
• Well-rounded industry experience 

• Prior experience teaching  
• Reasonable level of computer literacy
