Corrections Education Centre is a key portfolio of Bendigo Kangan Institute (BKI), delivering high-quality education programs to people in custody in partnership with Corrections Victoria and private prison operators. Through strong collaboration with multiple custodial sites, we play a vital role in supporting rehabilitation by building skills, confidence, and meaningful pathways for reintegration into the community. 

Learning delivery is adapted to the custodial context, with paper-based delivery and controlled classroom settings. Our educators work directly with individuals, often navigating diverse learning needs. Success in this environment requires professionals who are confident in demonstrating emotional intelligence and resilience, bring sound judgement and a strong commitment to professional conduct. 

Fulham Correctional Centre is seeking dynamic and committed trainers to deliver high impact vocational programs that support rehabilitation and future employment pathways in the following areas: 

• Cleaning 

• Civil Construction/ Construction Teacher 

• CGEA  

• Horticulture  

• Business 

What we are looking for:  

• Completed TAE40110 / TAE40116 / TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or currently enrolled and working towards 

• Relevant qualifications and experience in the vocational area   

• Previous teaching experience (preferable) 

• Passion for teaching adult learners in a correctional setting  

The Essential Paperwork; Working with Children Clearance (WWCC), Current police check, certified right to work documentation, Certified copies of your qualifications and transcripts
