About The Role:  
Step into the exciting world of event management with Bendigo Kangan Institute!  
 

If you have a knack for organisation, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for creating memorable experiences, this role is for you.  

As an Events Coordinator, you'll be at the heart of planning and executing over 70 diverse events annually. Working alongside the Events Lead, you'll support everything from flagship events like graduations and awards nights to internal events, ensuring seamless execution and strong stakeholder relationships. Flexibility is key, as you'll attend events outside regular hours and travel between campuses.  You'll ensure every event runs smoothly and leaves a lasting impact.

A brief overview of responsibilities: 

  • Organising event-related activities
  • Handling administrative tasks 
  • Being hands-on with event setup and pack-up
  • Following process-driven approaches
  • Maintaining good record-keeping and administrative skills
  • Taking responsibility for projects and tracking progress

  • A current Driver’s License
  • Relevant degree or TAFE qualification in event planning and management
  • Previous experience in hospitality or a client facing role (Desirable)
  • Passion to learn
  • Excellent organisation and administrative skills

  • Multitask
