Are you a panel beater / automotive body repair technician eager to share your skills with future automotive professionals?

Bendigo Kangan Institute’s Automotive Centre of Excellence (ACE) in Docklands is seeking passionate panel beaters / automotive body repair technicians eager to inspire and train the next generation of apprentice automotive body repair technicians. If you’re ready to pass on your knowledge and make a real impact, we want to hear from you!
(This role is internally known as Teacher Body Repair Technology)

 

What you will do: 

  • Train panel beating / automotive body repair technology in classrooms and workshop environments
  • Share your skills, experience and know-how with the next generation experts
  • Mentor apprentices and students to support diverse learning needs
  • Ensure apprentices’ and students’ skills meet industry standards
  • Collaborate with industry partners to keep training up to date
  • Help us improve what and how we train

 

We are excited about you because you are: 

  • A passionate trades person with willingness to enrol in Cert IV TAE 
    Or
    A qualified teacher (with Cert IV TAE) with vocational competency in panel beating/ automotive body repair technology along with industry experience, and
  • Hold a certificate III in Automotive Body Repair Technology (or similar qualification)
