About The Role:
This is a B2B growth and partnerships role in our Industry Solutions portfolio, accountable for strategic revenue and long-term industry partnerships across the automotive sector. You’ll identify and shape opportunities, negotiate and close high-value contracts, and translate industry needs into tailored workforce and training solutions.
What you’ll be doing (day-to-day):
- Own and execute a national business plan to grow market share across automotive training & assessments
- Build and expand strategic relationships with target companies, industry bodies, and influential partners
- Drive share-of-wallet growth: deepen existing accounts by solutioning new needs and pathways
- Lead complex sales cycles: proposals, tenders, pricing, governance, contracts, and handover to delivery
- Build and manage a pipeline across government funded and fee-for-service opportunities
- Maintain strong CRM discipline (Salesforce) to track leads, progress, forecasting, and outcomes
- Partner internally to align product innovation (courseware, educators, learning spaces) to current and emerging industry needs
You’ll be great in this role if you have
- Proven success in B2B sales / business development with complex deal cycles and strong negotiation capability
- Strong commercial acumen (risk, margin, governance, business cases) and a consultative approach to solution sales
- Confidence engaging senior stakeholders and translating needs into compelling value propositions
- Experience in automotive and/or education / training / workforce solutions (RTO/TAFE, apprenticeships, L&D, assessments)
- Comfort with pipeline management and CRM discipline (Salesforce)
