About The Role:
The Apprentice and Trainee Admissions Officer is accountable for enrolling apprentices and trainee students, from application to finalisation, across a range of industries and course types. They work closely with the Apprentice and Trainee Advisors, who handle the Training Plan of the enrolment process. The role will specialise in the process of enrolling new and continuing apprenticeships and traineeships students and Workplace delivery students., supporting other student enrolments as required.

- Demonstrated experience enrolling students (desirable) into apprentice/trainee and work-based courses, ensuring accuracy and compliance throughout the admissions process
- A proactive approach to following up on student IDs, compliance documentation, and student/employer payments, keeping processes on track and to deadline
- Confidence in engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, including students, parents, schools, and employers, both face-to-face and over the phone
- Outstanding front-facing customer service skills, handling student enquiries at campus reception desks and managing a busy TAFE phone line with professionalism and care
- The ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively, thriving in a dynamic environment where you meet deadlines and maintain high standards of service
- Experience in maintaining accurate records, processing applications, and providing clear advice on course requirements, fees, and enrolment procedures
- Advanced skills in using Student Management Systems and the Microsoft Office suite, with a keen eye for detail and quality
- A collaborative mindset, contributing positively to team success, continuous improvement, and a culture of open communication
