About The Role: 

Location: Cremorne, Hybrid role 
Type: Part time ongoing (0.4 FTE, days to be discussed with successful candidate) 
Remuneration:  $ 111,862.24 inclusive of 12% super 

Join VETASSESS as a Trade Assessor (Plumbing) and contribute to Australia’s skilled workforce by assessing the qualifications, trade competencies, and employment history of migration applicants. Your expertise will support fair, accurate, and nationally consistent assessments against Australian standards.  

What you will do: 

  • Conducting skills assessments for migration purposes
  • Undertaking Technical Interviews (in person and online)
  • Undertaking On-site workplace assessments both domestically and internationally
  • Completing reports on assessment outcomes
  • Communicating effectively with applicants from different backgrounds
  • Handling stakeholder engagement and upholding high standards of service delivery
  • Work in a highly collaborative environment with regular team meetings and catch‑ups
