About The Role:

As a Psychosocial Health, Safety and Wellbeing Consultant, you will play a pivotal role in delivering integrated wellbeing and psychosocial risk interventions across the organisation. Working within the Health, Safety & Wellbeing (HSW) team, you will provide expert advice, lead incident responses, and develop proactive strategies that enhance mental health literacy and reduce psychosocial risks for both staff and students.

This role is ideal for a mental health or allied health professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about creating positive change through evidence-based wellbeing initiatives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead psychosocial incident investigations and recommend recovery and prevention strategies
  • Deliver expert advice and support to leaders and staff on managing psychosocial risks and wellbeing
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop targeted interventions and training programs
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to implement best practice wellbeing strategies
  • Manage the BKI Wellbeing Working Group and drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Analyse data to inform and refine wellbeing programs and policy development

 

About You:

You will bring:

  • You will bring:
  • A tertiary qualification in psychology or allied health (postgraduate qualifications and AHPRA registration desirable)
  • Proven experience in psychosocial risk management, mental health, and wellbeing program delivery
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Experience in policy development, training facilitation, and data analysis
  • A proactive, flexible, and collaborative approach to problem-solving
