About the Role

As a Market Insights Manager (internally titled Market Insights Analyst), you will deliver market intelligence and insights to support strategic decision-making across Bendigo Kangan Institute.

You will lead end-to-end insight delivery — from data collection and survey design through to analysis and actionable recommendations — helping the organisation understand trends, opportunities, and emerging issues.

This role focuses on applying insights to improve student and customer experience outcomes, identify growth opportunities, and support data-informed strategy and planning.

You will communicate insights clearly and influence stakeholders by translating complex data into actionable recommendations.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver market insights and sector analysis to inform strategy

• Analyse internal and external data to identify trends and growth opportunities

• Design and deliver surveys and data collection approaches

• Collaborate across strategy, finance and education teams

• Present insights clearly and translate complex analysis into recommendations

• Contribute to advanced analytics and data capability uplift

About You

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capability

• Experience with Excel, Power BI or similar tools

• Ability to translate complex data into business insights

• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills

• Experience designing surveys or primary data collection

• Ability to simplify insights for non-technical audiences

• Understanding of customer experience and market behaviour

• Comfortable working across the full data lifecycle

Desirable: Experience in education, government, or regulated environments
