As our Instructional Designer, you'll be at the heart of creating exceptional learning journeys. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts (SMEs), educators, and multimedia developers to produce engaging and effective instructional content. Your focus will be on analysing learning needs, defining clear instructional objectives, and crafting interactive experiences that perfectly align with our clients' learning goals. You'll champion learner-centred content, ensure assessment quality and compliance, and contribute to the development of innovative learning and assessment products, strategies, and solutions.

What You'll Do

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to analyse learning needs and objectives.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including multimedia developers and graphic designers, to create visually appealing and interactive learning experiences.
  • Design and develop a range of engaging instructional materials, such as online courses, multimedia presentations, simulations, and interactive learning modules.
  •  Develop innovative instructional strategies, comprehensive lesson plans, and detailed storyboards to guide the development process.
  • Integrate effective pedagogical principles and proven instructional design models to ensure optimal learning outcomes.
  • Select and expertly utilise appropriate instructional technologies and tools to enhance the learning experience.
  • Conduct thorough formative and summative evaluations to assess the effectiveness of instructional materials and drive continuous improvement.

 

What You'll Bring

  • Proven experience as an Instructional Designer, specifically in an e-learning setting.
  • Proficiency in authoring tools, particularly “Articulate 360”, and Learning Management Systems (LMS), especially “Moodle”.
  • A strong foundation in instructional design principles, learning theories, and pedagogical practices.
  •  Proficiency in using instructional design software such as Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, or similar.
  • Demonstrated expertise in designing and developing interactive multimedia learning materials.
  • Comfort and openness to leveraging AI technology in all aspects of your role.


Qualifications

 

  • A Bachelor's or master’s degree in Instructional Design, Educational Technology, or a related field; OR other formal qualifications with extensive relevant experience.
  • Vocational qualifications and industry experience in a specific VET-related field are highly advantageous.
