Bendigo Kangan Institute is seeking Expressions of Interest from qualified Digital Technology professionals interested in casual teaching opportunities at our Bendigo City campus.

We’re inviting Expressions of Interest from people who may be interested in current or future teaching roles at our Bendigo City campus.

 

About the Role

As a Digital Technology Teacher, you will deliver engaging training and support students to build practical skills for the IT industry. This is a casual opportunity.

 

What You’ll be Doing

  • Teaching in a range of IT disciplines (programming, networking, cyber security, IT systems)
  • Facilitate in-person training with opportunities for online delivery
  • Supporting students through their learning and development
  • Assessing student work and progress
  • Foster a safe, inclusive and engaging learning environment
  • Sharing real-world industry experience with students

 

What We’re Looking For

  • A qualification in IT, Computer Science or Business Systems
  • Hands-on industry experience in a relevant IT field
  • A passion for teaching, mentoring, or developing others
  • Good communication skills and a positive attitude
  • TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent) is desirable
  • If you do not currently hold a TAE, support will be provided to obtain it
