About The Role:

We’re seeking a Cyber Security Specialist to lead the protection of our infrastructure and digital assets. This role will be pivotal in implementing and uplifting security controls aligned with ISO/IEC 27001:2022 and the Australian Government’s ASD Information Security Manual (ISM), including achieving maturity targets for the Essential Eight.

You’ll also manage our enterprise Data Loss Prevention (DLP) solutions, drive security awareness programs, and support audit readiness and compliance across the organisation.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Protect the organisation’s infrastructure and assets by establishing, implementing, and supporting comprehensive security solutions.
  • Implement and maintain ISMS, ensuring alignment with ISO/IEC 27001:2022 standards and ASD ISM controls.
  • Maintain the Statement of Applicability (SoA) and Risk Treatment Plan (RTP)
  • Deliver enterprise-wide security awareness and phishing simulation programs.
  • Manage DLP solutions across email, endpoints, cloud, and web.
  • Support incident response and vulnerability management.
  • Drive continual improvement and audit readiness.

 

 

We are excited about you because you have:

  • 5+ years of experience in a similar cyber security/network role.
  • A relevant degree in Information Systems or related discipline.
  • Certifications such as CCNA/CCNP, CISSP, or CompTIA Security+ (highly regarded).
  • Hands-on experience with ISO/IEC 27001 ISMS and Essential Eight controls.
  • Strong knowledge of network security, DLP, cloud security, and security technologies.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
