About The Role:
Bendigo Kangan Institute is seeking a highly organised Workplace Trainer and Assessor to assess the Certificate III in Hospitality (SIT30622) as part of an industry‑leading 52‑week traineeship program with a premium casual dining burger restaurant chain.
The role has a strong on competency‑based assessment within a structured, workplace‑embedded delivery model. You will make robust, evidence‑based assessment judgements against SIT30622 units using workplace evidence and LMS records, ensuring decisions meet RTO quality, funding and compliance requirements while aligning with industry client expectations.
This role suits an assessor‑first practitioner who is confident working with industry partners, providing clear written feedback to each student through an LMS, and managing multiple learners, submissions and assessment timelines concurrently.
We are excited about you because you have:
- TAE40116 (or TAE40110 with required upgrades)
- Vocational competency in hospitality
- Strong written communication skills, especially for feedback and LMS interaction
- High attention to detail and understanding of RTO compliance
- Ability to manage multiple learners, submissions and deadlines concurrently
- Confidence delivering training and assessment directly in the workplace
- Patience, structure and support for youth/entry‑level learners
