About The Role:
We are seeking a committed and collaborative Work Education Teacher to join the Youth and Work Education team at Broadmeadows. This role is critical in delivering targeted literacy instruction to adult learners with intellectual and neurodiverse needs. A strong foundation in literacy education is essential, as the successful candidate will play a key role in equipping students with the communication skills and practical knowledge needed for greater independence and pathways to employment.
You will become a part of a friendly and supportive team of teachers, where collaboration through regular meetings and flexibility are highly valued.

- Must have: Previous experience in teaching literacy to adults with intellectual disability
- A completed Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Highly flexible
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a supportive team
- Strong interpersonal skills and a student-centred approach
- Strong ability to build positive relationships with students and their families
