About The Role:
In this hands-on teaching role, you will:
- Deliver engaging face-to-face training for the ACM40418 Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing.
- Teach practical skills including surgical nursing, dentistry, pathology, reception duties, and customer service.
- Design course materials and assess student competence.
- Support diverse student learning needs.
- Maintain industry currency through professional engagement.
- Keep accurate student records and participate in validation activities.
- Represent the Institute at outreach events like the Dog Lovers Show and Vet Expo.
- Ensure compliance with National VET Quality standards, relevant legislation/regulations, BKI policies, procedures and business rules.

- Minimum 5 years of industry experience in the Veterinary Nursing Industry
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) – mandatory.
- Mental Health First Aid Certificate desirable
- Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of welfare and care practices.
- A genuine love for animals and enthusiasm for teaching.
