About The Role:

Are you a dedicated educator with a passion for supporting young learners on their vocational journey? We’re looking for an energetic VCE-VM Teacher to join our supportive and collaborative team at Broadmeadows.  

 

In this role, you will step away from traditional exams and traditional high school structures. Instead, you will deliver a hands-on, project-based curriculum that prepares students aged 16–19 for apprenticeships, traineeships, and the workforce.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Teach VCE-VM core strands (Literacy, Numeracy, Work Related Skills, and Personal Development Skills).
  • Deliver engaging and structured lessons to VCE-VM students 
  • Plan curriculum and manage classrooms with confidence and care
  • Support disengaged or alternative learners to rebuild their confidence and classroom engagement.
  • Maintain accurate attendance records and complete student reporting requirements in a timely, accurate, and compliant manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and course competencies according to VCAA and TAFE guidelines.

  • TAE40122 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment, or equivalent (mandatory)
  • A VIT Registration (mandatory)
  • A Secondary Education Qualification (mandatory)
  • Relevant industry currency and the ability to maintain compliance with VET regulatory standards
  • An approachable, confident persona
  • Passion about helping students succeed and willing to go the extra mile
  • Experience working in vocational or secondary education and being organised and reliable
