About The Role:
Turn your brewing experience into teaching excellence!
We’re seeking an industry-experienced Teacher – Food Processing (Micro Brewing) to join our close-knit and collaborative team at Bendigo Kangan Institute. You’ll deliver hands-on, practical training and conduct competency-based assessments in both classroom and workplace settings.
You’ll be involved in:
- Teaching the Certificate III Food Processing - Brewing to students via teams, 2 evenings (5.30-7.30pm) per week
- Visiting workplaces to complete practical assessments of students
- Designing and delivering engaging learning programs
- Assessing students and preparing theory classes
- Occasionally running practical classes with our 200lt microbrewery located in Bendigo
- Assisting with brewing operations
- Cleaning and sanitising work areas and utensils
- Handling ingredients and raw materials
- Supporting inventory and stock rotation
We are excited about you because you have:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent)
- Relevant qualifications in Micro Brewing or Food Processing
- At least 2 years of industry experience
- WHS knowledge and food safety practices
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A commitment to quality, hygiene, and continuous learning
