Role Type: Part-time, Ongoing (0.6 FTE)

Remuneration: from $123k total remuneration per annum, pro-rata

 

About The Role:

Join Bendigo Kangan Institute’s Health and Community Centre of Excellence (HACCOE) at Broadmeadows as a Health Administration Teacher, making a real difference for students and the wider community. In this part-time role, you’ll deliver high-quality vocational education and competency-based assessment for Health Administration, supporting trainees and prospective healthcare professionals in state-of-the-art facilities.

Teaching is required for Health Administration, with classes scheduled throughout the week, including blended learning and evening sessions for traineeships—currently Thursday evenings 5–8pm every fortnight, with flexibility to change. You’ll work with a diverse student cohort, supported by continuous mentoring, and contribute to the design and delivery of engaging, industry-relevant learning experiences.

 

Qualifications:

  • Certificate III In Health Administration
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or willing to enrol

Experience and Knowledge:

  • Industry experience in a Health Services field
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel etc
  • Has an understanding of cultural sensitivity and respects and values difference
  • Is able to identify language, literacy and numeracy issues
  • Can adapt communication style to suit audience and context
  • Ability to build constructive relationships with stakeholders
  • Has an understanding of the concepts and practices underpinning digital and blended learning and applies as a supplement to the learning program
  • Ability to use digital learning for administrative functions, to communicate, collaborate and for presentations
  • Provision (and maintenance) of current driver's license where relevant
