Remuneration: Starting from $89,312.16 including super (pro rata)

About The Role:

In this hands-on teaching role, you’ll:

  • Design and deliver engaging learning programs focused on the ACM30122 Certificate III in Animal Care Services Pet Grooming Qualification.
  • Provide face-to-face training to a diverse student cohort.
  • Teach practical skills including breed-specific grooming techniques, hygiene standards, and equipment maintenance.
  • Guide students in identifying and managing common skin and coat conditions, parasites, and grooming-related health issues.
  • Schedule grooming services and contribute to workforce development in the sector.
  • Identify and address student learning needs, including language, literacy, and numeracy support
  • Assess student learning and competence
  • Maintain industry currency through professional networks and industry engagement
  • Maintain accurate student records and assessment documentation
  • Participate in assessment validation activities

 

We are excited about you because you have:

  • Minimum 2 years of industry experience in pet grooming Including breed-specific styling and grooming techniques.
  • Strong animal handling skills and knowledge of welfare and care practices.
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) – desirable or willingness to enrol.
  • A genuine love for animals and enthusiasm for teaching.
