Role Type: Part-Time, Fixed Term 0.5 FTE, 2.5 days per week, 19 hours per week, Monday-Thursday (flexibility to choose days)

Remuneration: Starting from $61,159.84 including super pro-rata

About The Role:

As a Student Ambassador, you’ll represent BKI in a positive and professional way across a variety of student engagement, wellbeing, cultural and community programs.

You’ll help plan and run student events and initiatives, support orientation and campus tours, welcome visitors, and provide genuine student insights to help shape the BKI student experience.

You'll also play an active role in Student Voice initiatives, helping fellow students feel heard, supported, and connected.

This role gives you:

All while being supported by our Student Experience Team and continuing your studies.

 

What you’ll be doing

  • Represent BKI at events, programs and student engagement activities
  • Help create inclusive, welcoming environments for students and visitors
  • Share your own experience as a BKI student to inspire others
  • Support community, cultural diversity, wellbeing and mental health initiatives
  • Assist with early‑intervention and retention activities, including referring students to support services
  • Act as a leader in Student Voice programs
  • Provide authentic feedback to help shape future student initiatives

 

We Think You’ll Be Great If You Are:

  • A current BKI student with at least 6 months left in your course
  • An empathetic communicator who can relate to a diverse range of people
  • A team player who enjoys working with others
  • Enthusiastic about improving the student experience
  • Reliable, organised and confident speaking with groups or individuals
  • Creative, proactive and able to bring fresh ideas
  • Multilingual (desirable but not required)
