Remuneration:  Casual Teacher level from $82.01/hour (depending on qualifications) 

 

 
About The Role:

Bendigo Kangan Institute is searching for an industry experienced Mechanical Engineering Teacher to join our close-knit teaching team in Broadmeadows. 

Working among a team highly supportive teachers, you will deliver quality vocational education and training and conduct competency-based assessments in a range of environments. You will have access to world-class testing facilities, workshop spaces and specialised mechanical engineering applications. You will use your experience and understanding in mechanical engineering to support the student learning experience. 

 

We are excited about you because you have: 

  • Must have: Trade qualification - Cert III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade  

  • Well-rounded industry experience, machining, fitting and CNC programming  

  • Proficient using CAD software, such as SolidWorks  

  • Desirable skills: Mastercam 

  • A completed or currently studying Certificate IV in Training and Assessment  

  • Organised and a team player
