About the role:

BKI is seeking qualified and experienced nursing professionals to join our Diploma of Nursing Sessional Teacher Pool across our Broadmeadows and Essendon campuses.

We are building a pool of sessional teachers who can be called upon to support delivery requirements, including coverage for short-term leave, sickness and other periods of temporary teaching demand. Opportunities may be offered across either campus based on operational needs, your availability and your suitability for the required teaching area.

As a sessional Diploma of Nursing Teacher, you will deliver high-quality vocational education, training and competency-based assessment in line with program and regulatory requirements. Delivery may take place in classrooms, simulated learning environments, workplaces and online settings.

You will support prospective nurses to build the practical skills, knowledge and confidence needed for their future careers. Our nursing training environments include simulated laboratories and specialist equipment, supported by experienced educators with strong industry knowledge.

These are casual, needs-based opportunities rather than guaranteed ongoing hours. Members of the sessional pool may be contacted to cover planned or short-notice absences and other temporary resourcing needs. Flexibility to work across Broadmeadows and/or Essendon will be highly regarded.

In your application, please outline your preferred campus location, general availability and relevant areas of nursing expertise.
