About The Role:

As Senior Library Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in leading and supervising customer service operations across BKI libraries. You will:

  • Oversee front-facing library services, including live chat, inboxes, and phone support
  • Manage rosters and workflows for Library Officers, ensuring smooth daily operations
  • Coordinate library tours, student orientation programs, and engagement activities
  • Collaborating with IT to enhance user experience and troubleshoot IT issues
  • Contribute to strategic and operational priorities as part of the library leadership team

 

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement while ensuring exceptional service delivery.

  • A Diploma in Library and Information Services (or equivalent experience)
  • Proven ability to supervise and coordinate teams, including rostering and workflow management
  • Strong customer service skills and problem-solving capability
  • Tech-savvy approach with proficiency in library management systems
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate staff
