As an Education Manager (internally referred to as a Program Lead), your adaptability and problem-solving mindset will empower both students and staff every day. You’ll lead a team of dedicated teachers delivering EAL programs. You’ll oversee curriculum design, Teacher Performance, timetabling, resource allocation, teacher loads and student progress, and staff development - ensuring high-quality outcomes for students from diverse backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate curriculum planning, delivery, and continuous improvement
- Maximise student engagement, retention, satisfaction and a positive teaching environment by monitoring student attendance, engagement, and academic progress
- Lead and manage teachers, including supervision, performance, professional and vocational currency and development requirements
- Support staff with scheduling, excursions, and daily operations
- Build strong relationships with students, families, and support staff
- Ensure the continuous improvement of programs
- Maintain a respectful, and safe environment free from discrimination, bullying and harassment.
We are excited about you because you have:
- Must have: Certificate IV in TAE and Grad Certificate in TESOL (minimum)
- Adult Teaching qualification at AQF 6 level or higher
- Excellent knowledge of the VET Sector and the Training Standards for RTOs
- An understanding of the Adult Migrant English Program (AMEP)
- Flexibility to work in different locations
- Ability to coordinate staff spread geographically
- Excellent leadership skills & experience managing large teams
