Role Type: Full-time, ongoing
Remuneration: $144k salary plus superannuation

About The Role:

The Program Lead – Health Workplace plays a key leadership role in delivering Bendigo Kangan Institute’s workplace-based health education portfolio, supporting the quality and growth of employer-led delivery across Victoria.

Reporting to the Department Manager – Health Workplace, you will provide educational and operational leadership across a range of health and community-focused programs. You will lead and support a team of educators to deliver engaging, compliant programs aligned to industry needs, with a strong focus on student outcomes and experience.

Based at Broadmeadows, you will oversee the coordination, timetabling and day-to-day delivery of programs, including resource planning, student progress monitoring, and responsive delivery to meet employer and partner requirements.

Working closely with the Department Manager and other Program Leads, you will contribute to consistent delivery practices and continuous improvement. You will ensure compliance with ASQA standards, contractual obligations and BKI policies, while maintaining strong relationships with industry and placement partners.

This role focuses on program delivery, quality, and team leadership—supporting the continued growth of BKI’s workplace-based health offering.

We are excited about you because you have:

• A health-related qualification aligned to the portfolio (e.g. health administration, allied health, individual support or similar), enabling teaching within the program area.
• A Certificate IV Training and Assessment qualification or higher vocational education training qualification
• Demonstrated people leadership and management experience, with the ability to lead diverse teams in a complex, fast paced environment.
• Strong understanding of, or ability to quickly learn, vocational education and training environments, with prior TAFE experience regarded as an advantage.
• Proven organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and operational demands.
• Experience supporting program growth, change and continuous improvement, including working collaboratively across teams and with external partners.
• A collaborative leadership style, with strong communication skills and a commitment to inclusive, values led practice
• Valid working with children’s check and National police check clearance
• The ability to work collaboratively across teams and locations, with a current Victorian Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel between campuses as required
