Opening in the second half of 2026 at Broadmeadows, Hume Tech School is a STEM centre of excellence and part of the Victorian Government’s Tech Schools initiative, designed to prepare young people for jobs of the future.

Working with secondary schools across the Hume region, Hume Tech School will deliver immersive, hands‑on learning experiences that foster innovation, creativity and technological literacy.

The Opportunity

We are seeking an Operations and Digital Solutions Coordinator to play a pivotal role in the establishment and ongoing success of Hume Tech School.

Working closely with the Director and leadership team, you’ll keep the Tech School running smoothly day-to-day while leading the coordination of key digital platforms and assets. You’ll collaborate with staff, schools, contractors, industry and community stakeholders to support strong operations, engagement and reporting. This role combines hands‑on operational coordination with ownership of digital tools and systems, making it ideal for someone who enjoys variety and autonomy.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the development and implementation of key policies, procedures, regulatory compliance and planning
• Maintain digital assets (website/CRM, booking systems, LMS, collaboration tools, marketing and social media)
• Coordinate facilities, bookings, contractors and events
• Provide governance/admin support
• Support reporting, data tracking, presentations and grant documentation

What You’ll Bring

• Experience in operational support (ideally in the education sector)

• Strong capability managing digital platforms and content (web, CRM/LMS, collaboration tools, social)
• Confidence in working autonomously, applying policies and procedures to real‑world operational challenges, and knowing when to escalate issues.
• Confident stakeholder engagement, strong communication, and excellent organisation skills
• Adaptability, attention to detail, and ability to juggle competing priorities
