Remuneration:   $ 95,148.00 plus 11.5 % super

As an Industry Placement Coordinator at our Broadmeadows campus, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between education and industry. This full-time, ongoing position involves developing and maintaining strong relationships with industry partners to secure high-quality placement opportunities for our students. You will manage the end-to-end placement process, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines and seamless coordination within our centralised placement team. Your responsibilities will include student matching, logistics, and maintaining accurate placement records using systems like InPlace and Placeright. 


This role requires a proactive and highly organised individual with experience in VET sector who can balance future planning with current placement demands. You must have the right approach, a strong work ethic, and resilience. A customer focus lens, tech-savviness, and strong data handling and decision-making skills are essential. Attention to detail, the ability to prioritise multiple tasks, and effective stakeholder engagement are also crucial.  

You will act as a key point of contact with industry partners, undertaking site visits, risk assessments, contract maintenance support and by providing guidance to ensure successful placements. You will be coordinating placements for multiple courses offered by the organisation.

We are excited about you because you have: 

  • Relevant qualifications in Business/Marketing or substantial experience in an educational or VET setting. 

  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong industry partnerships and develop placement opportunities 

  • Experience managing end-to-end placement processes, including student matching, compliance, and logistics 

  • Proficiency in using placement management systems with a strong commitment to data integrity and compliance 

  • Ability to ensure placements meet regulatory, industry, and educational requirements 

  • Strong critical thinking skills to resolve placement-related challenges professionally 

  • Demonstrated ability to plan and manage multiple tasks and competing priorities efficiently 

  • Proven ability to work within a centralised placement team and maintain a focus on industry partnerships
