Role: Early Childhood Education and Care Teacher - Traineeships
Location: Broadmeadows with travel to placement partners
Role Type: Full-time, ongoing
Remuneration: From $90,879 salary plus 12% superannuation
About the Role
As an Early Childhood Education and Care Teacher – Traineeships, you will support trainees completing nationally recognised qualifications while employed in early learning services.
This is a predominantly off-campus role, where you'll visit trainees in their workplaces to provide training, assessment, coaching and guidance. You'll build strong relationships with learners and employers, helping trainees apply their learning in real-world settings and successfully progress through their qualification.
You'll enjoy a high level of autonomy while remaining connected to a supportive teaching team through regular collaboration, planning sessions and professional development activities.
Key Responsibilities:
You are an experienced Early Childhood professional who is passionate about developing others and helping learners succeed in the workplace. You are organised, self-motivated and confident building relationships with a range of stakeholders.
Essential Requirements
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care or higher.
- Experience supporting workplace-based learning, traineeships or work-based assessment.
- Demonstrated industry experience within Early Childhood Education and Care.
- Strong coaching, communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities.
- Understanding of VET compliance and assessment requirements.
- Current Victorian Driver Licence.
- Current Working with Children Check and National Police Check (or willingness to obtain).
