Role Type: Permanent, Full Time| On-site role
Salary: $88K plus 12% superannuation


About The Role:

This is a newly created role focused on how accessibility support is delivered across the organisation. As the Accessibility Practice Lead, you will design and embed a contemporary, student-centred in-class support model, ensuring it is consistent, scalable and aligned to best practice.


You will lead the day-to-day coordination, rostering and deployment of support staff, while uplifting workforce capability through mentoring, practice frameworks and continuous improvement. Working closely with educators and Access and Equity teams, you will ensure support delivery aligns to Learning Access Plans- translating strategy into practice across classrooms.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building systems, leading teams and improving service delivery at scale, rather than holding a direct student caseload.


Key Responsibilities:

In this role you will:

  • Lead and embed a best-practice model of inclusive, in-class support aligned to UDL principles
  • Manage, coach and develop a workforce of accessibility support practitioners
  • Oversee rostering and deployment of support resources across campuses
  • Drive capability uplift and consistency in support delivery through mentoring and quality frameworks
  • Lead the implementation and adoption of assistive technologies
  • Partner with educators and support teams to align support delivery to student learning plans
  • Ensure compliance with disability legislation and VET regulatory requirements
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance student outcomes

About You:

You’re a people-focused leader with a passion for inclusive education and a strong understanding of how to translate strategy into practice.

You will also bring:

  • Qualifications in Education, Disability, Allied Health or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of inclusive education, UDL and reasonable adjustments
  • Experience leading or mentoring support staff in an education or disability context
  • Proven capability in workforce planning, rostering and resource management
  • High-level stakeholder engagement and influencing skills
  • A commitment to continuous improvement and student-centred outcomes
