About The Role:

In this hands on teaching role, you’ll

• Design and deliver engaging learning programs focusing on the Certificate III in Baking with a strong focus on cakes and patisserie
• Deliver engaging and hands-on classes to a diverse group of students.
• Assess, provide feedback and support to nurture students to develop their skills.
• Collaborate with industry partners to ensure training meets workplace needs
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and OHS requirements
• Maintain industry currency through professional networks and industry engagement

We are excited about you because you have:

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent)
• Certificate III in Baking or Patisserie higher qualification
• Previous teaching or mentoring experience in a vocational setting
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques and food trends across Australia and Internationally
• Three years of experience working as a qualified Baker or Pastry Chef
• Current Working with Children Check
