Location: Bendigo City Campus with regional travel
Role Type: Full-time, ongoing
Remuneration: $85,644 plus 12% superannuation

About The Role:
As a Dental Assisting Teacher, you will play a key role in supporting students undertaking the Certificate in Dental Assisting through traineeships and workplace-based learning. This role focuses on delivering training and assessment directly within dental practices, allowing students to gain practical skills and knowledge in real working environments.
You will engage closely with both students and dental employers to ensure training is aligned with industry standards and supports the individual learning needs of each student.
The role is primarily field-based, with regular travel to student placement sites across the region. While most placements are local, regional travel — including visits as far as Mildura — will be required approximately every 10 to 12 weeks. A TAFE vehicle will be provided for work-related travel, along with accommodation and a meal allowance when overnight stays are necessary.

Qualifications:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or willing to enrol
- Certificate III and IV in Dental Assisting or higher
Experience and Knowledge:
- Ability to communicate effectively with staff, students, and dental practitioners
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel etc
- Understands cultural sensitivity and respects and values difference
- Can identify language, literacy and numeracy issues
- Can adapt communication style to suit audience and context
- Ability to build constructive relationships with stakeholders
- Understands the concepts and practices underpinning digital and blended learning and applies as a supplement to the learning program
- Ability to use digital learning for administrative functions, to communicate, collaborate and for presentations
- Provision (and maintenance) of current driver's license where relevant
