BKI is seeking a Community Service teacher to join our Health and Community Centre of Excellence (HACCOE) Department at Bendigo City Campus to teach and inspire the next generation!

About The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Community Services Teacher to join our Justice team on a sessional basis. As our Community Services Teacher - Justice, you will deliver high-quality online evening classes one day per week, providing students with the knowledge and practical skills needed to excel in justice-related community services roles. This sessional position is ideal for an experienced practitioner or educator looking to share their expertise in a flexible teaching environment, involving curriculum delivery, student assessment, and providing guidance to help students achieve their learning outcomes.
While this position begins as a one-day-per-week commitment, there is significant potential for growth within our expanding Community Services team. Successful performance may lead to additional teaching opportunities, curriculum development projects, and involvement in other community services programs across our team.

Must have:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
Other Qualifications:
- Diploma of Justice OR studies in Criminology, Legal Studies, Social Work with work experience in justice sector
Experience and Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel etc
- Has an understanding of cultural sensitivity and respects and values difference
- Can identify language, literacy and numeracy issues
- Can adapt communication style to suit audience and context
- Ability to build constructive relationships with stakeholders
- Understands the concepts and practices underpinning digital and blended learning and applies as a supplement to the learning program
- Ability to use digital learning for administrative functions, to communicate, collaborate and for presentations
- Provision (and maintenance) of current driver's license where relevant
