Are you passionate about protecting digital worlds and shaping the next generation of cyber defenders? At Bendigo Kangan Institute, we’re looking for a dynamic Sessional Cyber Security Teacher to join our digital initiatives department and bring industry insights to life in the classroom.

This sessional position is perfect if you want to make a difference without sacrificing your lifestyle! As a cyber security teacher, you will be able to share your expertise where it matters, helping to guide students as they learn hands-on skills and industry knowledge.

We're Looking for someone who has:

• Relevant qualifications in Cyber Security or IT at a diploma level or higher
• Cert IV in Training & Assessment (preferable)
• Industry currency and a practical understanding of cyber trends and tools
• Team-oriented mindset with a knack for working alongside colleagues and students
• Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage learners and translate complex ideas into relatable, real-world concepts

Key aspects of the role:

• Deliver high-quality, engaging sessions to learners across Certificate IV Cyber Security
• Equip students with practical, job-ready skills in areas such as network security, basic scripting and server infrastructure
• Potential to also teach into Cert III in IT and Diploma of IT
• Contribute to curriculum development and continuous improvement using your industry currency
• Foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment that inspires growth and curiosity
