About The Role:
We are seeking a passionate Sessional Teacher – Creative Arts to deliver engaging and industry-relevant training across visual arts disciplines including digital imaging, photography, printmaking and screen printing.
In this hands-on teaching role, you will:
- Plan and deliver high-quality vocational education and training sessions
- Prepare learning materials and set up classes to ensure a seamless student experience
- Support students with assessments, including digital submission processes
- Guide learners in using creative tools such as Adobe Photoshop and imaging software
- Maintain accurate attendance and student records
- Collaborate with fellow educators and contribute to a positive team culture
- Stay current with industry trends and bring real-world insights into your teaching
This role suits a practicing creative professional who is keen to share their knowledge while continuing their own artistic or freelance work.
About You
We’re looking for a creative and organised individual who:
- Has strong experience in visual arts, photography, or digital media production
- Is confident using digital platforms, editing tools, and camera equipment
- Are tech-savvy and comfortable managing online learning systems
- Demonstrates excellent time management and communication skills
- Enjoys mentoring and supporting diverse learners
Essential Requirements
- Certificate IV in Visual Arts (or equivalent vocational qualification)
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or willingness to obtain
- Minimum 3+ years of relevant industry experience
