About The Role:

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Program Lead to lead our– Agriculture, Horticulture and Conservation and Land Management teams of educators across our Bendigo and Broadmeadows campuses. This leadership role is responsible for program excellence, driving industry-aligned education that shapes tomorrow’s workforce.  You will be the catalyst for industry engagement and program innovation while fostering a high-performance culture and continuously improving vocational education programs across these areas.

 

Key responsibilities include:

  • Forging strong partnerships to accelerate growth in emerging opportunities such as Agri-tech, sustainability and conservation
  • Ensure quality and relevance through dynamic program curriculum design and continuous improvement
  • Lead engagement strategies to secure meaningful industry alliances
  • Manage and drive operational efficiency through strategic scheduling and team management
  • Guide forecasting and enrolment initiatives for sustainable growth
  • This role requires regular on-site presence at our Bendigo and Broadmeadows campuses, with some travel required to other locations.

 

We are excited about you because you have:

  • A current AQF Level 6 or above qualification (Diploma with studies in adult learning methodology, Vocational Education Environment, Applied Research, and 200 hours of supervised practicum) A vocational qualification in either Agriculture, Horticulture and Conservation and Land Management
  • At least 4 years of industry experience across the relevant industries
  • Strong understanding of Landcare industries and emerging technologies
  • Experience in team leadership and stakeholder engagement
  • Excellent communication, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
