Location: Bendigo City Campus – travel required to Melbourne Campuses
Role Type: Full-time, ongoing
Remuneration: $138,146.54 per annum (plus 12% superannuation)

About The Role:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Program Lead - Early Childhood and Education Support to join our team at Bendigo Kangan Institute. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing the effective delivery of a diverse suite of programs across the and Early Childhood sectors.
The Program Lead will support and guide a team of educators delivering nationally recognised qualifications, including the Diploma and Certificate-level courses in Early Childhood Education and Care and School Based Education Support. There will be a teaching load as part of this role.
This role is integral to ensuring high-quality teaching and learning outcomes, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements, and fostering strong industry connections to support student success and employability.

Qualifications:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher VET qualification
- Industry qualifications in at least one of the following:
- Certificate III/ Certificate IV in School Based Education Support
- Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care
- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care
Experience and Skills:
- Extensive theoretical and practical knowledge of course design, delivery and assessment, within the governance framework.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and managing a team of educators
- A strategic focus on building strong internal and external partnerships, while also planning for long-term workforce development and team capability growth.
- Proficient in IT management systems and MS Office suite.
- Understanding of auditing regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to lead, engage, and develop teams to consistently achieve strong results aligned with organisational goals.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and handle sensitive matters with professionalism
- Strong problem-solving skills demonstrated through critical thinking and a high work ethic.
- Current and valid Victorian driver’s licence and ability to travel between BKI sites and workplaces.
