As the Lead Educator (internally referred to as Program Lead), your adaptability and problem-solving mindset will empower both students and staff every day. You’ll lead a team of dedicated teachers delivering VCE VM and Work Education programs. You’ll oversee curriculum design, scheduling, student progress, and staff development—ensuring high-quality outcomes for students from diverse and vulnerable backgrounds.  

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Coordinate curriculum planning, delivery, and continuous improvement 

  • Monitor student attendance, engagement, and academic progress 

  • Support staff with scheduling, excursions, and daily operations 

  • Build strong relationships with students, families, and support staff 

 

We are excited about you because you have: 

  • Must have: VIT Registration, Secondary School teaching experience, Completed Certificate IV TAE 

  • Familiar with VCE/Work Education requirements 

  • Worked with vulnerable cohorts 

  • Knowledge of NDIS 

  • Flexibility to work in different situations 

  • Ability to coordinate staff spread geographically  

  • Excellent leadership skills
