Role Type: Part time (0.6 FTE) fixed term till February 2026 
Required days: 3 days a week (days to be discussed) 
Remuneration:   $ 95,998.56 (inclusive of 12 % super, pro rata) 

 

About The Role:  

As an Apprentice and Trainee Advisor, you'll be the vital link between apprentices, trainees, employers, trainers, and key support stakeholders. You’ll guide students through every step of their journey, from pre-training reviews to regular progress check-ins, making a meaningful impact on their learning experience.

You will work in a fast paced, high-volume environment performing various tasks such as: 

  • Build Powerful Industry Partnerships: Cultivate and maintain strategic employer relationships to drive sustainable growth and foster robust industry partnerships across the sector
  • Expert Guidance for Apprenticeships: Support apprentices and employers with contractual obligations and training plans
  • Thorough Pre-Training Assessments: Conduct pre-training interviews and assess funding eligibility
  • Personalised Student Support: Case manage student progress and implement support strategies for learning challenges
  • Welcoming Student Onboarding: Facilitate student inductions and site orientations
  • Professional Workplace Engagement: Represent BKI in workplace visits, maintaining strong industry relationships
  • Champion Upskilling & Growth: Promote upskilling and business opportunities within industry
  • Collaborate for Excellence: Collaborate with internal teams to drive continuous improvement and strong outcomes

  • Relationship building expertise to connect easily with apprentices, trainees, employers, and team members
  • Proactive, go-getter attitude to be self-motivated and go above and beyond
  • A current driver’s licence and flexibility to travel between BKI sites and employer sites
  • A relevant degree or post-grad qualification (or combination of extensive experience and lesser qualifications)
  • Significant experience within the apprenticeship industry
  • Trade qualification or Certificate IV in Training & Education (TAE) highly regarded
  • Strong understanding of apprenticeship training frameworks, VRQA, ASQA standards
  • Knowledge of training delivery models and stakeholder roles
