Role Type: Sessional
Salary: $86 - $93 Per hour (Dependent on qualifications and teaching experience)

As a Sessional Hospitality Teacher, you’ll deliver high-quality, accredited training to adult learners within a correctional facility, helping them build practical skills and confidence for a successful future in the hospitality industry.

 

  • Deliver engaging and industry-relevant hospitality training aligned with current standards and safety regulations.
  • Support learners to develop practical skills and knowledge across key hospitality areas such as food service, hygiene, customer service, and kitchen operations.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress, assessments, and compliance documentation.
  • Create a positive, respectful, and inclusive learning environment that supports diverse learner needs and backgrounds.
  • Work collaboratively with a supportive team committed to rehabilitation through education and vocational training.

 

What We’re Looking For:

 

  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (TAE40110 / TAE40116 / TAE40122) OR willing to enrol.
  • Relevant and current experience in the hospitality industry.
  • Experience delivering training in adult education or vocational settings (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a correctional environment.
  • A commitment to safety, inclusion, and learner success.

  • Current police check / willing to obtain
